Unite Gatwick Cabin Crew Campaign

On Tuesday Unite delivered the overwhelming results of our consultative ballot to British Airways. At the same time Unite the Union launched a campaign website and video in support of British Airways Gatwick Cabin Crew.

Within 36 hours, it received just under 7000 views.

Today, British Airways have asked Unite if they would pause the campaign to provide an opportunity to focus on resolving our issues.

Clearly, as a reasonable and responsible trade union branch we have agreed that Unite may pause the campaign temporarily to allow for constructive talks and give BA the opportunity to resolve our issues without distraction.

However, should these efforts fail and we are unable to find resolution through talks the campaign will be restarted, immediately. We will then request members to reach out to their friends and family and ask them to support them by sharing the campaign material on their behalf, ensuring maximum reach and exposure.

Now, finally, your voices are beginning to be heard by British Airways. Let’s hope they listen and work constructively towards resolution.

We will of course keep you updated with any progress.
